Sounds like Census Tract 4610 will be the one to watch during Saturday's Altadena Town Council election.
In pre-voting Tuesday night, election chair Eric Pierce said that 62 people came into the Altadena Library's community room to vote early, and 43 of them were voting in 4610. That census tract pits local businessman Brent Musson against Gail Casburn, educator and co-owner of the Altadena Ale & Wine House.
Reports are that Musson has recruited several volunteers and has been campaigning very hard in his census tract.
Following the closing of the polling place at 9 PM, Pierce said the ballot box was turned over to the Altadena Sheriff's station afterward for safekeeping until the ballot count on Sat., June 11.
