District Ranger Michael McIntyre from the National Forest Service is passing along a message about dogs going off-leash on the Cobb Estate: "I would like to ask everyone to think about what we can do with the issue of dogs off leash there. We are getting more and more near misses and complaints about encounters with unleashed dogs. I just had a FS employee get bit by a dog off leash elsewhere on the forest and she had to have 30 stitches so it is a subject of concern. I want my employees and the public to be able to have a safe, enjoyable experience and also pet owners to experience the forest with their pets."
