- Christmas Tree Lane maintenance, 8-noon. Weed pulling,ivy cutting, and check the trees for fungus infections. Donuts, coffee, and lunch thereafter. There will be tools available, but bring your own gloves. Starts at Altadena Dr. and Santa Rosa St.
- Pet Adoption Day at Three Dog Bakery, 36 W. Colorado, Pasadena. Help St. Mark's Girl Scout Troop 463 with donations of old towels and blankets, food, toys and treats for dogs at the Pasadena Humane Society. There will be dogs available for adoption, too.
- Aveson School June Jubilee will be held this year at Farnsworth Park, 11 AM-5 PM. Games, prizes, raffles, and live music to help support Aveson School.
- The Pasadena Police Heliport Open House (2175 Yucca Lane, Altadena) from 11 AM-2 PM. Check out the choppers and other police vehicles, with SWAT and K9 demonstrations at 12 and 1 PM, many other displays and demonstrations.
- Bunco tournament at the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks, to benefit the Ale House team for the Relay for Life. A $20 donation gives you food, a drink, and a chance to win prizes, but RSVP first so there's enough food: sdsujulie@hotmail.com or call 626-794-4577.

- St. Mark's School alumni and parents are invited to celebrate the school's 50th anniversary at Sunday services at St. Mark's Parish, 1014 E. Altadena Dr., 9 and 10:30 AM.
- The Pacific Asia Museum, 46 N. Los Robles Ave., Pasadena, is celebrating its 40th birthday at a free family festival from 12-4 PM. Enjoy a pan-cultural birthday party and discover how birthdays are celebrated throughout Asia with traditional food, dance, performances, demonstrations, hands-on activities and crafts. Participate in painting a giant birthday card and explore the museum galleries - all for FREE!
- The Pasadena Master Chorale presents "The Green Concert" at 4 PM at Altadena Community Church, 943 E. Altadena Dr. Tickets are $20 at the door.
- The Folly Bowl welcomes the Briton Ensemble singers with jolly choral singing to welcome in summer. Free concert, but please bring a dish and beverage to share for the potluck party afterwards. Doors open at 5 PM, concert at 6. 1601 E. Loma Alta Dr.
