Help thwart identity theft by bringing your documents to be shredded at the Altadena Sheriff Station's community event on Sat., Aug. 6
Altadena Station is hosting its first "Community in the Park" event that day at at Charles White Park, 77 Mountain View St., 1-4 PM. As part of the festivities, Shred-it, a document destruction firm, is offering to shred the papers you don't need anymore.
"Community in the Park" is an event to show law enforcement's appreciaton of the citizens of Altadena. It promises to be a festive family atmosphere filled with food, fun and safety information.
