Fri., July 22
2:40 PM – A petty theft occurred at Ralph’s, 2270 N. Lake Av. The suspects - #1 female black 20-25 years of age, 5 ft. 3 in. - 5 ft. 5 in., 140 lbs., black hair brown eyes and #2, female black 30-35 years, similar height and weight, entered the store and stole several bottles of alcohol. Loss prevention made contact with females and the females returned three bottles. Loss: one bottle of alcohol. Suspects last seen in black Dodge sedan travelling on Mendocino St.
10:23 PM – An arrest occurred at Lincoln Avenue & Woodbury Road. The suspect was taken into custody after deputies recovered stolen property.
Sat., July 23
1:15 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 300 block of Laurel Drive. The victim who was home at the time heard some commotion along the eastside of the property and looked out the window. The victim observed a male, Caucasian, 30 yrs, 5 ft. 11 ins. -6 ft. 2 ins., average build, short hair, holding a flashlight and a male, African-American, 30 yrs, 5 ft. 11 ins. -6 ft. 2 ins., large build, bald, sitting in the driver’s side of a black SUV. The victim yelled at subjects and the male Caucasian said he was looking for his keys. At the time, the male, Caucasian, entered the black SUV and left out of view. It is unknown if the subjects are responsible for the damage to the door latch of the garage. Loss: none.
