The second annual LA Folk Festival is set to take place Aug. 6 at the Zorthian Ranch in Altadena, but right now, they're in fundraising mode.
Kickstarter, the pledge-to-good-causes website, has a page up for the Folk Festival, and they're trying to raise $3,500 by Mon, July 25 to get it moving.
According to their website, "Over the last year, The New LA Folk Fest has been recognized for its unique contribution to the local music scene by putting on events that go beyond the usual concert experience. Bringing together bands that inspire a new definition of folk music in this unique environment, we hope to create a new appreciation for the festival experience, while also celebrating the unique history of Zorthian Ranch itself."
Performers will be located all over the ranch for a unique and only-in-Altadena experience.
