Sheriff Lee Baca will hold a press conference later today to seek the public's assistance in solving the murder of Brandon Jackson.
Jackson, 18, a student at John Muir High School, was shot and killed Feb. 12 while attending a house party on the 300 block of W. Palm St. in Altadena. The Board of Supervisors have offered a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the killer.
Also at the conference, to be held at sheriff's headquarters in Monterey Park, will be Homicide Lt. Dave Dolson, Det. Adan Torres, Det. Jeff Leslie and Altadena Sheriff Captain Steve McLean, along with members of the victim’s family.
