Many thanks to all who have made a contribution to the fund for the family of Katherine Lopez, the beautiful three year old who was tragically killed in an accident. It is all gratefully appreciated by the family.
Attached is information on the vigil planned for Friday and the funeral service and burial for Katherine which will take place on Saturday. The public is invited. If you would still like to make a donation, you can drop that off at the Altadena Sheriff's Station until 2 PM on Saturday. After that you may still make a deposit to the fund at Wells Fargo Bank using this information: "Katherine Lopez Donation - Acct #73-21253424".
The vigil will be from 5-8 PM Fri., July 8, at Mountain View Cemetery, 2400 N. Fair Oaks Ave. Funeral is Sat., July 9, at New Guide Baptist Church, 2162 Summit Ave., Altadena, from noon to about 2 PM. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
UPDATE: Also at least two local businesses are taking donations: Webster's Fine Stationers, 2450 N. Lake Ave; and the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks.
