- The Altadena' Library's Summer Movie Extravaganza is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," 146 min., rated PG-13. Admission, popcorn, and drinks are free. Altadena Main Library, 600 E. Mariposa St.
- It's Fancy Food Truck Fridays at the Shops at Webster's. This month: Ragin' Cajun, Sugar Babies, No Reservations, Greenz On Wheelz, Shrimp Pimp, and The Hungry Nomad. Join Webster's Fine Stationers for a taste of Susann Edmonds' Jabberwocky Smooth Jerk and listen to the fabulous sounds of Altadena's favorite musician, HB3: Hugh Bonar's futuristic sounds will amaze you, just as his novel "Avalon" will entrance you! You're all invited inside the store to taste and listen while your dinner is being prepared! 5-9 PM on Lake at Marcheta.

- Big Hat Promotions cowboy & western concert series continues with cowboy poet Gary Robertson and balladeer Michael Tcherkassky. Doors open at 5 PM, dinner is served at 5:30, show begins at 7 PM. $20 per person cash donation requested. Reservations required: email big.hat@sbcglobal.net.
- Summer in Altadena is officially here: The Irish Volunteers open up the Sheriff Support Group of Altadena's 15th annual concert series at Farnsworth Park, starting at 7 PM. Before the concert, you can pick up a dinner from Amy’s Patio Café http://www.amyspatiocafe.net/id3.html or El Patron http://elpatrononline.com/. During the concert, and for the first time, beer and wine are available for purchase courtesy of the Altadena Rotary Club. Webster's Fine Stationers is providing water and ice for the performers. Concerts are hosted by the Altadena Sheriff’s Station and Farnsworth Park. Sponsors of the summer concert series are: Warner Bros., Rotary Club of Altadena, Supervisor Michael D.
