Art on Palm is a one-day-only exhibition of artists and craftsmen held at the enclave of Wild Wood Park in Altadena every spring and fall. At each show the artists of Art on Palm contribute a percentage of their sales to the Greater L.A. Fisher House. This has resulted in a cumulative contribution of $10,000.
The Greater L.A. Fisher House Foundation–of the Fisher House TM program– located on the campus of the West Los Angeles V.A. Health Center, is a ‘comfort home’, which enables family members to be close to their loved one during a hospitalization for an unexpected, illness, disease, or injury. This unique private-public partnership meets a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
