A quarter acre patch of the Cobb Estate was burned in a brush fire this morning that was rapidly put out by LA County Fire Dept.
Fire Dept. spokesman Matt Levesque said that four crews, five engine companies, and three helicopters were deployed to the fire on Angles National Forest land after it was reported at 4:19 AM. It was knocked down at 4:53 AM, and there were no injuries or structure damage, Levesque said. The cause is still under investigation.
