The Altadena Community Chest is one of the charities participating in Macy's "Shop for a Cause" this Sat., Aug. 27.
Macy's guests with a "Shop for a Cause" pass will receive 25% off on regular, sale and clearance merchandise throughout the store Saturday and will be eligible to win a $500 gift card, no purchase necessary.
Russ Fega at the Altadena Community Chest says that passes are available for $5, and will benefit the Community Chest.
In order to purchase a pass, send an email to russ@altadenacc.org with "Shop for a Cause" in the Subject line. Passes can be picked up at Fega's home.
The Altadena Community Chest is is a 501 (c)3 organization that collects voluntary donations from the general public and production companies who film in Altadena. It helps support local organizations including the Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy, the Friends of the Altadena Library, Five Acres, Altadena Heritage, Altadena Elementary School, Young & Healthy, and the Altadena Library Foundation.
