San Pedro theater troupe Shakespeare by the Sea concluded its summer in Farnsworth Park Sunday night with the Bard's comedy of love and misunderstandings, "Much Ado About Nothing."
Dogberry, Leonato, and Verges palaver before Hero and Claudio's wedding.
Governor Leonato reacts joyously to the wedding of his daughter Hero and her beloved Claudio, not anticipating that the groom-to-be will accuse her of infidelity in one of several mixups and misunderstandings in Shakespeare's comedy.
Falsely accused, Hero faints in the arms of Beatrice as Benedick looks on (Beatrice and Benedick are the real love story, anyway!)
A very substantial set was moved onto the Farnsworth Park stage for the play.
