The new recommended supervisory district boundaries will be on the plate at a public hearing next week.
The LA County Board of Supervisors will discuss the redistricting proposal on Tues., Aug 9, and are encouraging public input. The supervisors will be looking at its Boundary Review Committee final recommendation, which was submitted in July after a process that included sifting through hundreds of written comments, scores of testimony and over a dozen boundary map proposals.
The current recommendation keeps Altadena firmly in the Fifth Supervisory District under Michael D. Antonovich.
The hearing will be held Tues., Aug. 9, at 11 AM at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration Board Room, 500 W. Temple St., Los Angeles.
