On my morning walk, I found a small white male dog tied purposely tied to the branch of a small tree on Maiden Lane (just north of Rubio Drive).
He has no tag, no ID and is wearing a collar that is a bit too big for him.
After checking with all the neighboring houses and finding no clues as to the dog's owner, I untied the little guy from the tree and brought him home.
He is marking my kitchen--so apparently, he is not house trained (or perhaps he is just frightened). He is incredibly frisky so I think he might be pretty youthful. His fur is something like Poodle fur, but more silky. I think.
He has recently been groomed--has a fresh hair cut.
If you recognize the attached pics, let me know. I will keep him overnight and then hand him over to animal control if no one claims him.
