HB3 (Hugh Bonar and his piccolo bass) will perform at the Folly Bowl next Sat., Sept. 24.
The performance will feature a premiere of his new work, "Poseidon: Fantasia for Piccolo Bass."
The concert is $5 suggested donation, and starts at 8 PM.
The Folly Bowl is at 1601 E. Loma Alta Dr. Bring a picnic and blanket, and pack out what you bring in.
Also: Jeremiah Small was at the last Folly Bowl concert, and got some video of the free jazz stylings of Stan Wood with "Unpopable": Wood plays the "vibraband" (a rubber band), and Addi plays the balloon bass. It's something to see and hear! After the jump.
