Hector Tobar at the LA Times looks at the early days of integration at the Pasadena Unified School District, starting with a picture at Noyes Elementary (now Aveson Charter School) c. 1971.
The Altadena Mountain Rescue Team caught another one in Eaton Canyon: a lost hiker, called in at 7:20 PM on Wednesday by another hiker who heard the yell for help. The lost hiker was located at 9:10 PM, cold but uninjured.
