The Foothill (210) Freeway was briefly shut down Monday evening as authorities investigated a package left on a La Cresenta overpass.
The freeway was shut down in both directions for approximately 10 minutes, snarling traffic for miles as Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies investigated a briefcase on the Rosemont Avenue bridge. No homes were evacuated, though Rosemont Avenue, between Altura and Mayfield avenues, was also shut down.
