So the City of Hope will prevail!
It's time to get a little rhyme-y and maybe naughty as (Altadenablog sponsor) the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks Ave., celebrates its second annual Limerick Festival on Nov. 11 (11-11-11).
Running from 6:30 -10 PM, it will be MC'd by Mimi Chen, with many guests poets and an open mic.
If you want, come into the Ale House before the event to get your Limerick Beer coaster to write your limerick on (but you don't need to write it on a beer coaster, obviously!
Producer Jansplays is looking for a $10 donation on this evening for those who want to help with their City of Hope fundraiser for cancer research.
