The Los Angeles Community Garden Council is hosting "The Gathering" in Altadena, a day-long, ecological and educational event, featuring break-out sessions, networking, information booths, and healthful food around the theme “Farm to Fork.”
The fifth annual gathering will be held Sat., Oct. 22, from 8 AM-4 PM at Loma Alta Park Community Center and the Altadena Community Garden, 330 N. Lincoln Ave.
The event is free, however, donations are appreciated. Lunch will be provided, first come, first served. This is a low-waste event. Please bring plates, cups and eating utensils.
