A bear arrives at JPL,
200 pounds of fur.
BEAR thinks he found a NASA rock.
From moon? Well, he's not sure.
Of Einstein's work, the whole world knows,
of RELATIVITY.
BEAR's hearing that the speed of light's
not what it used to be!
One hundred eighty-six thousand,
two hundred eighty - two,
miles per SECOND --light it moves
If wrong, what will Bear do?
BEAR has request, if Einstein's wrong,
so he's at JPL.
With moon rock sale, he'll take a trip
to stardust, he will sail!
For winter comes with chilly blast,
BEAR needs a place to stay.
And URSA MAJOR seems just right,
in sky above, he'll play!
So JPL, please help BEAR out,
in loving mammal bond.
So help him make his magic trip,
To the UNIVERSE---and BEYOND!***
