Fancy Food Truck Friday's isn't the only food truck event in Altadena. The recently-opened Sidewalk Cafe HTS is throwing a "Harvest Nights" food truck event on Thursdays through the end of the month on the west side of town.
Sidewalk Cafe HTS is located at Hen's Teeth Square, 2057 N. Los Robles (corner Los Robles Avenue and Woodbury Road), just across the border in Pasadena.They tell us that "Sidewalk Cafe wants to bring food trucks for locals that normally wouldn't get a chance to experience options in the area."
Sidewalk Cafe hts opened its doors in February and is putting together events that will benefit the locals. They point out that there are very few restaurants in the Northwest Pasadena/Southwest Altadena area, and after 10 PM nothing's open except McDonald's and Jack in the Box. The cafe also provides music and entertainment, as well as areas for the patrons to eat and use the bathroom in an area that is well lit, clean, and secure.
