"ODE TO HUSKY"
from gloriana casey
The Bear went over the mountain
to see what he could EAT!
He heard the growl of the Husky
and thought Godzilla he'd meet!
But Husky is a Chihuahua,
small and fragile---he seems.
Alert and bolder than T-Rex!
A nightmare to Bear's hungry dreams.
Garbage can? It was a fortress,
Bear claws couldn't break in.
Monster barks-- they surrounded!
STEALING, dear Bear--is a sin!
Up to the tree top Bear scampered,
Stomach? It growled as he rose.
Now Bear's own stomach was growling!
FEAR---from nose to his toes!
The bear went over the mountain
to see what he could see.
Bear heard the sound of dear Husky
and ended up in the tree.
A lesson here from brave Husky,
in Latin--truly is taught.
FORTUNE favors the bold ones.
"Audente Fortuna Juvat!"
