Explore PUSD's Mandarin immersion program Tuesday night

There will be a Mandarin Dual Language Immersion Program Information Night on Tues., Nov. 22 at the Field Elementary School cafeteria, 3600 Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena, from 6-7 PM.  The program includes:

• What is Dual Language Immersion?
• Open Enrollment process for Dual Language Immersion Programs in PUSD
• Meet current MDLIP parents

Also,the Pasadena Education Network is hosting "Navigating Open Enrollment" on Tues.,  Nov. 29 at the Pasadena Central Library at 7 PM. This is a great opportunity to learn more about PUSD's enrollment system.

Open enrollment is January 11 - February 1, 2012. This year, the language immersion programs will participate in open enrollment. They will not have their own enrollment periods like they have in the past.
