from the Altadena Library District
Do you have some library fines you haven’t gotten around to paying? Would you like to clear those fines AND do a good deed--all at the same time? Well, now's your chance!
From November 21 through December 3, patrons at Altadena Library are invited to help support the Sheriff’s Food and Toy Drive by bringing in new toys or non-perishable food items in lieu of paying those fines.
According to Library Director Barbara Pearson, “This program has been so popular with our patrons that many bring in items even though they do not have fines because they want to help those in need at this special time of the year.”
Check below to see how you can help the community and clear up your outstanding fines.
- $ 1 - $ 5 2 canned goods or 1 non-perishable item
