Some bright news in a dreary week: The Christmas Tree Lane Association has announced that the lighting ceremony is still on for this Sat., Dec. 10.
Linda Lane White of the Christmas Tree Lane Association tells us that the Winter Arts & Crafts festival kicks off the festivities with vendors and food trucks at the Altadena Library, starting at 2 PM. Santa Rosa Ave. will be closed to traffic from Mariposa to Woodbury starting at 4 PM, and the ceremony begins at 6 PM.
Local radio personality Tammy Trujillo will be mistress of ceremonies for the event. Performers include:

Pasadena Waldorf School 6th Grade Singers
Altadena Children’s Choir

Parking is limited. Get there early. This year, there will be some parking available at the Altadena Senior Center.
