At Webster's Fine Stationers, they'll present a special winter trunk show with Altadena seamstress Leslie Aitken, of LA General Store. Leslie's whimsical, snugly and brightly colored knitwear designs have been a hit at the Altadena Urban Farmers Market, and will be sure to please you on Friday.
- Altadena artist extraordinaire Karen Bagnard will showcase her playful watercolor giclee prints, hand-painted glass ornaments and greeting cards. She'll personalize them for you at purchase, and might even draw you as an elf! Supremely talented, Ms. Bagnard's designs encompass dreamworld designs of mermaids, fairies, Santas, snowmen in holiday garb. You just have to see her iconic seasonal offerings!
- Local wellness guru Revvell Revati will be here demonstrating hooping - the latest craze in fitness! Not your parent's Wham-O hula-hoops, Revvell fashions these from sturdy tubing and decorative tapes and are now in stock at WFS. See how easy it is to hula-hoop the pounds away - it's so fun, you might even want to join in!
- The John Muir High School chorus will be here at 6 PM with an assortment of holiday tunes.
- If you bring an unwrapped toy or packaged/canned food item for the Put The Fork In Hunger Toy Drive, you 'll get 20% off any item in the store.
Webster's Community Pharmacy will also be accepting unwrapped toys for "Toys for Tots" today.
