The Fork in the Road gang is going to have a major toy drive coming up this weekend (see graphic for details), but tonight it's in cyberspace. A message from Bob Stane at the Coffee Gallery Backstage, 2029 N. Lake and "Fork in the Roader" Phil Coombs:
Attention Cyberspace fans. As you may or may not know, Tuesday December 6th is "Viral Tuesday". We are encouraging everyone out there to throw a Facebook party with your friends and see how many people you can connect with regarding this massive Toy Drive in the space of an hour or two. Brainstorm with your buddies and take this event viral!
For your networking pleasure, the Coffee Gallery in conjunction with the Coffee Gallery Backstage will be hosting the event Tuesday evening from 6-10 PM. Bring your laptop, bring your friends' laptop and your friends too. Bring your pizza and share among friends.
Having cream with your coffee or sugar in your tea is an option, but leaving children without toys on Christmas morning is NEVER an option. With your help, we will succeed in making every childs Christmas a memorable one.
BTW, let's not forget the older kids too. Number one requested gift for the older kids are ipod shuffles and itune gift cards.
