Andre Coleman at the Pasadena Weekly says that there will be a moratorium on plans to shut down three post offices -- the Altadena post office, the Mack Robinson facility at Orange Grove and Lincoln in Pasadena, and the Orangewood post office at California and Pasadena Ave. Originally planned to close at the end of the year, they are now targeted to be closed in May. NAACP Pasadena Branch President Joe Brown thinks it's a little suspicious that the post office is holding a public meeting about it at the Pasadena Convention Center next Thursday, when downtown Pasadena is gearing up for the Rose Parade.
