"Blowin' in the Wind"

WIND In The WILLOWS---it was not,
yet not quite WINDS of WAR.
So what to name this local storm,
now part of local lore.
Gabby is a lovely name
and stems from Gabrielle.
A synonym for talking too,
as on and on words spill.
That crazy, twisting, manic storm
of the San Gabriels,
it seemed to last eternally,
before the sky stood still.
Wind Gabby, just went on and on,
which serves that "wordy" fit.
Plus Gabby in our real life too,
survived a vicious hit.
Ms Giffords is a Gabby too.
Destruction came her way;
but she survived it, we will too.
Destruction holds no sway.
Community it will heal us,
--as it did heal her.
Perhaps the Gabby Wind it serves
as messenger Twofer!
ONE message is---- pain comes to all,
to everyone on earth.
The vision of Ms Gifford's strength,
to hopefulness gives birth.
TWO: slings and arrows in our lives
tend to make us crabby.
But in perspective, we'll now say,
At least it's not Wind Gabby!
