HIs family name was DEODAR,
and yes he was a tree,
Her family name was SPARKLING POOL,
yet love could never be.
From high a- top, his pine cone eyes
they followed Sparkling Pool
His love for her was plain to see
though parents were quite cruel.
"Oh no," they said, "you cannot join
in Natures' boundless light
For she is water, you're a tree,
why can't you get this right? "
"For I am Romeo," he cried,
"and she my Juliet!
Our love grows bigger than the sky,
when Pool and I connect!"
Now Wind was laying round about
and heard this plaintive wish,
"Oh LOVE " cried Wind," I do approve,
I'll have a part in this!"
For Romeo and Juliet,
they will be joined somehow!"
And so they were, this loving pair
joined in a storm so.... WOW!
Ah..... Romeo and Juliet,
such a star crossed pair.
Two lovers......both are doomed of course
SHE'S Water and HE' S Air.
Dear Romeo and Juliet,
this Love story's so ancient.
But WIND,-----you're not a matchmaker,
and Love's always IMPATIENT!
