Pasadena's Church of the Nazarene came out the worse for wear after this week's winds.

UPDATE 9 AM
We're receiving reports of power restored to some neighborhoods (not to ours, tho', where the hum of newly-purchased generators went on all night -- not for us, tho'!).
----
Palm St. Resident's Association toy drive is still on ("rain, shine, or power failure" they say).
------
Edison watch: Southern California Edison is planning to set up a distributon site to provide flashlights water, and ice in some of the dark areas. They will be spreading the word via meter service people and volunteers, and we'll let you know where the location is once we get it confirmed. So far, they're promising all lights will be on by Sunday night.
--------
The Patrick Gothard Studio sale is still on!

UPDATE 9:30 AM
While we're enjoying the time here at the Sidewalk Cafe, we need to get home for awhile -- the little kids are both sick, and Dr. Mrs. Altadenablog (who has performed yeoman duty) isn't feeling too good herself, so duty calls. Hope to be able to get back to it later -- in the meantime, read the comments for local updates, and don't be shy about giving us your neighborhood news.
