Mountain View Mausoleum, 2300 N. Marengo Ave., will be the scene for a fundraiser for LItFest Pasadena this Sunday, Jan. 29, from 3 - 6 PM.
LitFest Pasadena is Pasadena's first complete annual literary festival: an all day event with readings and signings by famous authors, and panels on more than a dozen subjects, to be held March 17. Sunday's fundraiser is the final one before LitFest and will help get the festival off on a solid financial footing.
A donation of $75 per person and $100 per couple is suggested, though all donations are welcome, and any amount will guarantee you entrance to the event.
Programming for the fundraiser will include performances by students from three local schools:
- A scene from Hamlet, performed by a Westridge School student
- A scene from Twelfth Night, performed by an Alverno High School student
- An a cappella performance from Marshall Fundamental High School’s choir
Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door, online, or by mailing a check to the address below. All donations are welcome!
For all attendees, please remember that the entrance for this event is off Alameda Ave. (on the northern side of the Mausoleum), and parking is available all along Alameda Ave.
