- Bikeways up for approval: the county Regional Planning Commission will be asked to approve a county Bicycle Master Plan, which includes a five mile "bike boulevard" for Altadena as well as a new bike path that will start at Eaton Canyon and follow the Eaton Wash. The meeting will be Wed., Jan. 11, at the Department of Regional Planning, 320 W. Temple St., Los Angeles. - Post office honors Goodall: Rep. Adam Schiff will officially rename the Pasadena Post Office after an Altadena resident on Saturday. The post office at 281 E. Colorado Blvd. wil lbe renamed the "First Lt. Oliver Goodall Post Office," after the former postal worker and Tuskegee Airman who helped end racial segregation in the U.S. military.
