A man who deputies say was caught in the act of burglarizing a home Jan. 20 has been linked to five other burglaries in Altadena.
Jeremiah Billingslea, 20, was arrested by sheriff's deputies during an attempted burglary of a home on the 300 block of East Calavaras St. according to Lt. Duane D. Allen of the Altadena sheriff's station. Subsequent investigation linked Billingslea to five other burglaries clustered in the Morada Place neighborhood in recent weeks. Allen says that Billingslea has been charged with six separate counts of burglary. Billingslea is a parolee with a previous burglary conviction, according to Allen.
Allen said that the burglaries followed a similar M.O., where a back window was broken with a brick or rock to gain entry to the home.
