The Altadena Town Council will consider Arroyo Pacific Academy's second-go-round bid to open a high school campus at its February meeting.
The agenda itself has an unprecedented tight structure for the hearing: Arroyo Pacific will give and eight minute presentation, followed by ten minutes allowed to the opposition, and the school will have two minutes to rebut.
It will then be followed by Land Use Committee chair Mark Goldschmidt, who will present his committee's recommendation. That committee rejected Arroyo Pacific's plan earlier this month.
Expect a full house. The Palm Street Area Resident's Association has been collecting letters opposing the plan for the past few weeks.
In other action, there will be presentations on the PUSD/town council annual joint meeting, and a report from Bernardean Broadus, Altadena's representative on the PUSD redistricting committee.
The Altadena Town Council will meet at 7 PM at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr.
