Even thought we categorize Valentine's Day as a Day of Enforced, Joytm, we're not that much of a Scrooge to say it shouldn't be enjoyed. Here are a few things going on in town:
The Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks Ave., will have a special Valentine's Day dinner on Tuesday, with a catered menu from Susann Edmonds of Jabberwocky, Inc., paired with great wines. Cost is $65 per person, and make your reservations after 5 PM at 794-4577.
Also, Webster's Community Pharmacy is still holding its "treasure heart hunt": special “conversation hearts” featuring instant savings will be hidden among the aisles of the gift department. Customers who purchase a minimum of $10 will qualify to “hunt” for one of these hearts – instant savings will be good towards that day’s purchase from the gift department. This is all in addition to a selection of Valentine cards and gifts. Webster's Community Pharmacy is at 2450 N. Lake Ave.
