A young male cat who is very sweet and friendly and in good shape showed up at our doorstep at 5 AM Sunday March 18th - VERY hungry and clearly lost. He wanted in our house in the worst way, so we let him in - a couple of coyotes frequent the neighborhood and we lost our dog last year. Our lights were on, and my impression is that he's an indoor cat who somehow got out and is lost. He wondered into our yard just north of New York Drive on Mar Vista (corner of Mar Vista and Morada). Our dog bolted out of the backyard [Monday] and we have been searching all day to no avail. The dog's name is Ripley. He is a white poodle mix, around 25 pounds. He should have a collar with my phone number, and he has a chip. Attached is a picture. My daughter Stephanie is crushed. We are at the intersection of Altadena Drive and Mendocino.
