Morning jolt

• Hunger Walk:  Maurice Bloem, deputy director of Church World Service, has been walking 1000 miles this week to publicize CROP Hunger Walks in the area.  Friday, he stopped in Altadena  and James Figueroa of PSN has the story.

• Take the tour: It may be too late to sign up already, but:  the LA Foodsteader Tour is a stop off at four significant LA-area foodie locations (including Hollywood, Winnetka, and Silver Lake), but the one that interests us is the half day artisanal cheese workshop by Stephen Rudicel at Altadena's Mariposa Creamery, aka the Zane Grey Estate.  More info here.
