- Ain home on Pasadena tour: Pasadena Heritage is holding its 2012 spring home tour on March 25, looking at American Modern style homes. Our friend historical architect William Ellinger said that a very special feature of the tour is one of the Park Planned Homes by Gregory Ain at the 2700 block of Highview Avenue. - TIny Tot T-Ball: Registration ends soon for Co-ed Tiny Tot T-ball (for ages 3-5) at Farnsworth Park: $50 registration ends tomorrow, March 16 (when it will increase to $60) registration fee will end on March 17 after that, the fee will go up to $60 (registration closes March 21). Coaches/Parent meeting is 7 PM on March 23, practice starts the week of April 9, and opening day is April 21. Fee includes uniform (jersey, pants, socks, and cap), referee fees, trophies to all players, and a banquet. Volunteer coaches are needed, too. - Drought tolerant plant class: Foothill Municipal Water District is hosting a Free Drought Tolerant Plant Class for those interested in designing and maintaining beautiful gardens with water conservation in mind. The class will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 9 AM-noon at the La Canada Presbyterian Church, 626 Foothill Blvd., La Canada Flintridge.
