Local poet Betty Ford reads her work at the Altadena Senior Center Saturday afternoon for "Poetry and Cookies," the annual poetry festival sponsored by Friends of the Altadena Library. The event included the crowning of Altadena's new poet laureate, Linda Dove, who here shows off a recent acquisition -- tattoos (of doves, of course).
