The lineup and sponsors for the Sheriff Support Group's Summer Concert Series has been finalized, with some returnees and some new blood in both categories.
There's even some new wrinkles ("Those Manning Bhoys" changed their spelling), and not one, but two tribute bands (Sgt. Pepper doing the Beatles, and the Walking Phoenixes tribute to Johnny Cash and others in the grand finale).
New to the sponsor roster are MonteCedro and Athens Services. Altadenablog returns as sponsor for our second year. Also returning are Warner Brothers, Los Angeles County Supv. Michael D. Antonovich, Baietti Seyffert, the Rotary Club of Altadena, Georgia Rutherford in memory of Don Rutherford, All American Audio Video, Toyota of Pasadena, the Altadena Sheriff's Station, and M&M Printing/My Irish Pride.
All concerts start at 7 PM at Farnsworth Park Amphitheater. Beer and wine will be available through the Rotary Club, and SSGA President Bob Klomburg tells us that there will be food for sale, too.
(There's even a countdown clock on on the SSGA's website -- wonder where they got THAT idea?)
