Other items at last night's Town Council meeting:
- The Town Council members will meet with the consultants for the Altadena “visioning process” on Tues., May 22 at the Community Center.
- The California Highway Patrol will install children’s car seats (or insure yours is installed correctly) at the Altadena office on Wednesdays, by appointment only, (626) 296-8100
- Sheriff Capt. John Benedict in his first council meeting said that he hit the ground running (standoff, shootings, torched body, etc.). Benedict said that there was also an uptick in assaults, and they were bringing in a COPS team (Community Oriented Policing) from the sheriff’s department, extra deputies to work in the community.
