The Jet Propulsion Laboratory's annual Open House will be June 9-10 this year, with the theme "Great Journeys."
Over 38,000 visitors go to the open house every year to have a look at JPL's programs to explore the planets. This year, visitors can share in the wonders of space through high-definition and 3-D videos, live demonstrations, and a first look at JPL's new Earth Sciences Center.
JPL says the following items are not permitted: weapons, explosives, incendiary devices, dangerous instruments, alcohol, illegal drugs, pets, segways, and all types of skates including skateboards. No bags, backpacks or ice chests are allowed, with the exception of small purses and diaper bags.
Open House will be from 9 AM-4 PM both days, and admission is free. Parking is available near the Oak Grove main gate and the eastern boundary of JPL, accessible from Windsor Avenue via the Arroyo Boulevard exit off the 210 Freeway.
