The Minneapolis Star-Tribune website reports that a Golden Valley, Minn., police officer was cleared of all charges in the fatal shooting of an Altadena woman in Monnetonka.
Katherine Gordon, 58, of Altadena, was stopped by Officer Robert Zarrett who observed her driving on Interstate 394 at speeds exceeding 90 miles an hour. After pulling her over, she got out of the vehilce and, police say, pointed a gun at the officer, who responded by firing at Gordon, fatally wounding her.
