A demonstration of police strategy at the 2011 heliport open house: while the bad guys are holed up in the truck, the police fly in a dog to drive them out.

The Pasadena Police Department will have its annual Open House at Benedict Heliport, 2175 Yucca Lane in Altadena. The open house will be Sat., June 2, from 10:30 AM -2:30 PM.
Besides helicopters on display, there will be other police vehicles including an armored rescue vehicle, crime scene investigation vehicle, and mobile common post.
Every hour, starting at 11:30 AM, the open house will feature a different demonstration of police techniques including SWAT, K9s, or motorcycles.
