RIPE Altadena, those backyard farmers, are holding a new workshop. RIPE's Gail Murphy says that this workshop, "Landscaping with Native Plants," will tell you how to create a yard where you only need rainwater to maintain it.
Roger Clemm will conduct the workshop, to be held at the Pasadena Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1280 E. Washington Blvd., on Sun., June 3, starting at 3 PM. Cost is $20, but (what's NOT on the poster) is that they are requesting RSVPs to have the proper number of chairs and handouts available. RSVP to gail@ripealtadena.com.
