Sheriffs deputies are asking for the public's help in the the search for suspect with a handgun who attempted to rob the ARCO station at 1633 N. Altadena Drive.
According to a release from the sheriff's department, the suspect entered the station on May 12 at about 9:20 PM.
The release says the suspect "removed a handgun from his pocket and pointed it at the victim who was standing behind the cashier counter. The victim believe the suspect was trying to scare him and he asked the suspect to leave. The suspect walked around the counter and struck the victim twice in the head with the handgun. The suspect left the location in an unknown direction."
