The Altadena Chamber of Commerce's "Fireworks and Food Truck" event is a great way to enjoy one of Altadena's community events and support a good cause at the same time.
On July 2, five food trucks will be lined up at the Altadena Golf Course parking lot, 1456 E. Mendocino St., starting at 6 PM. Bring a chair to enjoy some great food and get ready for the Altadena Town & Country Club's annual fireworks show, starting at 9:30 PM. Limited lot parking and street parking will be available.
The event will help raise funds for the Marion Lee Wullschlager Scholarship Fund. The event is co-sponsored by the Chamber, DC Golf, and Goliath Graffix.
"We want to invite you to bring your friends family and neighbors over to enjoy great food, watch the sparkling fireworks and help give back to your local business community at the same time," said Inger Miller (Miller-Hawkins Productions), Chamber president.
Participating food trucks will be: The Greasy Weiner, Komodo, Slammin' Sliders, Sweet Arleen's Cupcakes, and A-Rockin' Ice. For more information, call 626-794-6015.
