Getting some sketchy information about an incident this afternoon: according to the watch commander at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's station, the sheriff's bomb squad was called in to an Altadena location to deal with some suspicious-looking materials.
According to the watch commander, a man was being moved out of his residence by his family today when they found the materials. As the man had previously been arrested for making a pipe bomb, and the materials looked like they could be used for that purpose, the bomb squad was called to investigate.
"The situation is solved, it's done, no one's in danger," said the watch commander, but neither Crescenta Valley nor Altadena Sheriff Station would release any more details, including the location of the incident.
